Decent value for a first timer

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for something affordable. I ended up getting a Cloud Hosting package. The new user discount made it quite attractive compared to other providers I checked. The pricing seemed fair for what I got, and the activation was quicker than I expected. I was a bit worried about support, but my one question about DNS settings was answered fairly quickly. It felt like a good deal for the money, especially with that initial discount.

Good service, small hiccup

I purchased a Linux VPS a few weeks ago for a small project. Setup was pretty quick, and the server performance has been solid for the price. I did have a small issue with the initial firewall configuration, which took customer service about an hour to sort out. They were responsive, though. Overall, it's good value, but they could streamline that initial setup a bit more.

Reliable as always

Another solid experience with PaaS.id. I've been using them for my Managed Database needs for over a year now, and this latest renewal for my Block Storage was just as smooth. Service activation was fast, same as my previous orders. They're consistently reliable, and I haven't had any downtime issues with my services. That's why I keep coming back.

VPS worked, fast activation

Got a Windows VPS. Activation was fast, maybe 15 minutes. Server works fine for my needs. No problems so far.

How long does it usually take to get a VPS activated after you sign up? Need to get something up and running pretty quick.

E Elizabeth 1 month ago
Mine was almost instant, like within minutes. Pretty fast.

From my experience, it's super quick, usually within an hour. As long as your payment goes through without a hitch, it should be provisioned pretty fast. I've never had to wait more than a couple of hours tops.

Hey, I'm looking at PaaS.id for a new project. Anyone know if they have any trials for their VPS plans? Don't wanna commit right away without testing it out.

T Tim P. 1 month ago
Yeah, I think they do have a free trial for Cloud VPS. Not sure if it's for all plans though.

They totally do! I signed up for one last month. It's usually for a limited time or specific resource tiers, but it's enough to get a feel for it. Just check their site for the current offer.

What kind of payment options do they accept? Just curious if they take anything beyond credit cards.

A Alex C. 1 month ago
They take bank transfers and I think QRIS too. Pretty common for local providers.

Yeah, they're pretty flexible with payments. I paid using a local bank transfer last time, and I'm pretty sure I saw options for QRIS too, which is super convenient here. Not just credit cards, which is nice.

Thinking of moving my stuff to PaaS.id, but how do they compare to Niagahoster or IDCloudHost? Anyone have experience with both?

G Grace T. 1 week ago
PaaS.id's support feels a bit more personalized compared to Niagahoster, from my experience. Performance wise, they're pretty similar for basic VPS.

I've used all three at different points. PaaS.id feels a bit more developer-focused, with a wider range of managed services beyond just basic hosting. Niagahoster is solid for general hosting, and IDCloudHost is good too, but for specific cloud infra stuff like Kubernetes, PaaS.id had better options for me.

Are there any discounts for new users or for paying annually? Trying to optimize costs here.

J Jennifer 1 week ago
Yes, they almost always have new user discounts or credits. And annual billing usually gets you a better deal too. Definitely worth checking their promo page.

Absolutely! They usually have a pretty sweet new user discount or some free credit when you first sign up. And yeah, going annual often knocks off a good chunk, like 10-20% off the monthly price. Keep an eye out for seasonal sales too, those can stack up sometimes.
